This short has the frame references of a rite of African root (Exú,African God who came to America with the yoruba slaves). The film plays with the look of the elements that integrate this ritual, the gunpowder, the ancestral simbology, the combustion, the visions that it provoques, the autorreferencial experience of it.
Elegbe´s not a film describing an action, it´s a visual work that wraps to the performance turning it to a projected image, image that rescues across the metaphorical thing of the underlying simbology.
