Un petit film sur le monde, comme vu à travers les yeux d'un jouvenceau. Assis près d'une rivière, il examine l'environnement des bactéries présentes dans l'eau, il scrute attentivement les microbes à travers une loupe, comme si c’était un trou de serrure à travers lequel il observerait une abstraction. Un peu comme dans Alice au pays des merveilles de Lewis Caroll, la curiosité du garçon est révélée à l'image comme une fantasmagorie de found footage reflétant la condition existentielle et le monde. La métaphore-clé du film est l'arrivée du garçon au stade de la maturité - les nombreuses choses qu'il va voir et apprendre pour comprendre, questionner, accepter ou refuser.
A short film about the world, as seen through the eyes of a young adolescent boy. Sitting by a river he examines the environment of the bacteria living in the water, he attentively scrutinizes the microbes through a magnifying glass, which doubles up as a kind of keyhole through which the boy peeps through into a big abstraction. Somewhat like Lewis Caroll’s “Alice Through The Looking Glass” the boy’s curiosity is visually revealed like a phantasmagoria of found and archive footage depicting the conditions of life and the world.
