Panic Room— un film de Yuk-Yiu IP /

Tourné en trois mois, ce film présente un petit appartement de Tokyo avant et après le tremblement de terre qui a touché l’est du Japon et l’incident nucléaire qui l’a suivi en 2011. L’appartement, ordinaire, espace domestique où rien ne semble se passer, devient soudain le miroir d’une réalité physique qui s’écroule et d’une personnalité sous le choc.

Shot over a three-month period, PANIC ROOM documents a small Tokyo apartment before and after the East Japan earthquake and the ensuing nuclear outbreak in 2011. The ordinary apartment, a seemingly uneventful domestic space, suddenly becomes a mirror of both a collapsing physical reality and a shaken personal state.
