Zare gagne sa vie en ramassant de la ferraille: de l’aluminium et du cuivre. Il vit dans un endroit assez particulier, sur la rivière, dans le centre-ville de Belgrade. Il aime faire du vélo et passer du temps avec ses amis. Il fait partie de ces hommes invisibles que personne ne regarde.
Zare earns his living by collecting scrap materials - copper, aluminum, brass. He lives in a very peculiar place on the river, in the city center of Belgrade. He likes to ride his bike and to spend his time with friends. He is one of those invisible people no one cares about.
Film Scrap Material already participated in numerous festivals, among others at: 11th Festival Silhouette in Paris, France (11ème Édition du Festival Silhouette), 3rd Festival of Short-Film in Tirana, Albania – Special Mention, 26th Montenegro Film Festival, Herceg Novi, Montenegro (August 2012), Watersprite – The Cambrigde International Student Film Festival, Cambridge, United Kingdom, 12th goEast - Festival of Central and Eastern European Film Wiesbaden, Wiesbaden, Germany, April 2012 - 3rd Place Audience Award in Student documentary competition, 4th International Student Film Festival DukaFest, Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, November 2011 - Best Documentary Award. At the 59th Belgrade Documentary and Short Film Festival it was awarded the prize as the Best Film in National Competition, as well as the Special Award “Jovan Acin”. The film is selected for the 32nd Munich International Festival of Film Schools, that will take place in November 2012.
