Un jardin de sculptures d'un mystique au milieu des ravages de l'ouragan et des saisies de propriété. Le projet est né de la fascination pour une statue géante d'un dragon dans un manoir en Floride. L'artiste qui a crée cette œuvre, Lewis Vandercar (1913-1988), commença en tant que peintre et sa pratique s'enrichit d'un goût pour l'ensorcellement et la télépathie. Inspiré par les possibilités parallèles, les images sont combinées avec le texte d'articles des journaux locaux dans un film de maison hantée qui invite à regarder au-delà du monde matériel.

 A mystic's sculpture garden amidst hurricane damage and property foreclosure. This project began out of a fascination with a giant sculpture of a dragon attached to a Central Florida mansion. The artist who created this landmark, Lewis Vandercar (1913-1988), began as a painter and is practice grew along with his notoriety for spell-casting and telepathy. Inspired by Vandercar’s interest in parallel possibility, the images are combined with text from local newspaper articles in a haunted-house film that both engages with and looks beyond the material world.
