Le Cristallin est un film devant lequel on oublie la photographie du cinéma pour tomber dans sa matière pelliculaire, là où le film est un organe. Le fantasme d'un film comme une continuité physique du corps... Cela ressemble à une vision de l'intérieur d'un oeil. Éblouie, la pupille se rétracte, puis se dilate. La lumière, matière immédiate du film, est ce qui le fait exister.

Le Cristalin is a film in which one forgets the photography of cinema to
find oneself in its film strip, where the film is a living organ. The
fantasy of a film as a physical continuation of the body... It looks like a
vision from the inside of an eye. Dazzled, the pupil retracts and then
dilates. Light, the immediate material of the film, is what makes it exist.
