Projection/performance, multi-projection

La vie de Suzanne suspendue au désir coupable de deux vieillards qui administrent la justice. Suzanne est fragmentée sur différents supports et en différents cadrages (jambes filmées sous l’eau, tête de face s’immergeant, corps emprisonné dans un téléviseur) et apparaît par intermittence dans la sphère de vision qu’encadrent les vieillards. Le dispositif place spectateur et vieillards en situation d’attente voyeuriste. Le texte proféré est extrait du livre de Daniel (Ancien Testament). Les diapositives sont retravaillées d’après le cristal de Lothaire (IXe) illustrant la Vie de Suzanne.
1 projecteur 16 mm à 24 ips, 1 projecteur super8 à 24 ips, 2 projecteurs de diapo type carousel avec fondu enchaîné manuel, 1 lecteur de cassette audio, 1 surface réfléchissante de 360cm de largeur posée au sol. Image totale idéale de 360 cm de base, sur mur blanc au départ du sol (projections sur le sol également). Une table et une tablette de projection. Recul entre 6 et 10 m. Obscurité totale.
Suzannah's life at the mercy of two elder's lust, meting out justice Suzannah's picture, centered differently is fragmented on various media (her legs being filmed under the water, her face sinking in and her body being framed in a TV set). The picture appears intermittently within the two elder's scope of vision. The device turns the spectators and the two old men into expectant voyeurs. The spoken text is taken from the Book of Daniel (Old Testament).The slides are enlarged reproductions of Lotharius's crystal (IXth century) illustrating Suzannah's life.
One 16 mm projector running at 24 images per second, one 24 i/s super 8 projector together with two slide projectors (the carousel type) equipped with a manual fade-in, fade-out system.A 4 meter wide reflective surface, just on the floor. An ideal total image with a 4 meter base, projected onto a white wall, resting on the floor as there are projections onto the reflective surface too. A CD player. A table and a projection tablet. A 8 to 12 meter distance. Total darkness.
