"Je suis un scénariste et cinéaste plusieurs fois primé, actuellement réalisateur de courts-métrages et de publicités, et ayant l'intention de réaliser des longs métrages prochainement.

J'aime travailler de différentes manières, mais mes intérêts sont pour le moment tournés vers l'animation, les mélanges de médias, le surréalisme, l'enfance, et les ordinateurs. Je crois en la narration pure et dure ainsi qu'en l'importance de l'humour.

Parallèlement à mon métier de cinéaste, je conçois et programme des jeux vidéos, et je compose de la musique.

Adam Butcher is an award–winning writer/director, whose latest screenplay Not The End Of The World was selected for the BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Showcase. A graduate of the Berlinale Talents campus, Adam experiments with visual style and narrative structure to tell stories that entertain and provoke.

Adam has written and directed many successful short films, with 4 Vimeo Staff Picks to his name. His viral thriller Internet Story attracted over a million views in its first week online, while Bradley Manning Had Secrets continues to play at festivals worldwide and won ‘Best Short Film’ at Mix Copenhagen 2013. His most recent short The Prevailing Winds was funded by Film London and premiered at the BFI London Film Festival.

Adam previously worked for BBC Creative, directing promos for big brands such as The Last Kingdom and Doctor Who – but left in order to pursue a full-time career in Feature Film and TV. Among a slate of projects, he is developing a science-fiction TV Series HereAfter and recently finished writing a feature adaptation of Internet Story for Western Edge Pictures (Third Star, Prevenge).
