Marco Rebuttini

Passionné d'escalade, après avoir été éducateur dans les Alpes du sud pour jeunes en difficulté, Marco monte une petite société qui réalise des travaux acrobatiques dans des endroits difficiles d'accès et met au point des techniques de travail sur cordes pour le théâtre et pour les prises de vues cinéma. Il travaille sur de nombreux grands reportages pour la télévision. Photographe, cadreur et grand voyageur, il ramène des clichés du monde au quotidien depuis 91, images d'une Patagonie imaginée, portraits de chasseurs de miel au Nepal, volcans d'Amérique latine... Il a récemment réalisé la série Le temps, disparitions végétales argentiques, et prépare actuellement Les mains sales, projet photographique sur le "hors-scène". Miramen est son premier film.

A passionate climber and former youth educator in the Southern Alps, Marco creates a small company skilled in specialized rigging and ropeworks in remoted and out-of-reach areas. He further perfects techniques especially designed for theater and film shootings and works on numerous television reports. Photographer, cameraman and traveller, he shares his view of daily life around the world since 91 : images of an imaginary Patagonia, portraits of honey hunters in Nepal, Latin American volcanoes… He recently created the photo series Le Temps, vegetal argentic disappearances, and is currently working on Les mains sales, a photographic project on the backstage workers of the performing arts scene. Miramen is his first film.
